The report card--draft one

Peter just finished the final exam.
Then, the winter vacation came.
But after few days, the report card was coming.
That day morning, his father just at home.
He didn’t have to work that day.
About 10 o’clock, the doorbell was ringing.
And the postman delivered the letters.
Then Peter’s father received and read the report card.
After reading it, his father’s face grew purple with rage.
At afternoon, Peter came back from the playground.
When he entered the living room, he saw his father sitting on the sofa.
Then, his father began to ask him some questions.
He tried to give him many useful advices.
He shared with Peter two wise sayings.
”Knowledge is power.”
“Time and tide wait for no man.”
Everyone knows money can’t buy lost time.
His father said that after graduating from the school, maybe you have to use these skills later in your life.
He hoped that as you look back on your school life, you have no regreats.
Since then, Peter tried hard to manage to keep up with his classmates and made up for the lost time.
